Kudrin says Russians’ real disposable income can resume rise 2018
MOSCOW, Sep 27 (PRIME) -- The real disposable income of the Russians will likely grow in 2018 for the first time since 2013 but the poverty level in the country is still high, head of the Audit Chamber Alexei Kudrin said in a speech at the State Duma, the parliament’s lower house, on Thursday.
“The poverty level remains high: 19.3 million people, or 13.2% have income lower than the poverty level,” Kudrin said. “I hope that this year, we will attain increase of the real income of the population for the first time (since 2013).”
The real disposable income of retirees has started to increase as well, he added.
